I am very pleased to share my home
selling experience with you.
Like many home owners, I felt that I was capable of selling my property on my own. I did
all of the right things and then some. I paid a small fee to a For sale by
owner company which published my property on the Multiple Listing Service. I sent
digital pictures which were published on realtor.com and I printed my own flyers.
Anxious for my home to debut on the real estate market, I hosted my
own Open House for Brokers. I sent out more than 200 invitations via email and I did not
receive one response let alone one guest. I continued to advertise Open Houses to the
public and post my flyers throughout the community to no avail.
After three months of waiting for a miracle to happen, I called Kim
Quanstrom. She met with me at my home the next day where she measured my rooms, took
pictures and developed a marketing strategy. Kim asked about my timeline and priorities. I
told her I wanted my home sold by my birthday (just 62 days away). She made a few
suggestions regarding the staging of my home and I signed a contract. The home
was listed with her brokerage the next day, and my sign and lock box were installed the
following day.
Kim used her vast knowledge of the internet to maximize my home
exposure by creating websites and postings on sites such as craigslist.org and others. She
hosted an Open House every weekend and kept me in the loop with consistent
communication. I never had to pick up the phone to ask one question.
Remarkably, just 62 days from meeting with Kim, I had a contract. I
accepted the offer on my birthday!
Kim did an excellent job including helping to navigate me through the
entire process. She coordinated with the lender, title company, appraiser, inspector, and
attorneys. I just had to show up at the closing three weeks later.
I highly recommend Kim Quanstrom and will be working with her again
when I am ready to purchase my next home. Kim exceeded my expectations and demonstrated to
me that she is not just there to collect a commission, she is there to be your advocate.
